In 1986 a group of men decided to break away from the Jaycees and form the Gautier Men's Club. We help the community in various ways, donating our time when asked by the city, a school, or a private citizen. Donating to the local sports teams, dance teams, or schools. We also provide Jackson County Seniors with scholarships each year.... and we also help needy families during the holidays....meals at Thanksgiving and Gifst for the young ones at Christmas.
We honor the City police and firemen with Fireman and Policeman of the Year award and we honor a deserving citizen of Gautier with the Whitney Shotts Citizen of the year.
Mardi Gras ParadeThe Gautier Men's Club Mardi Gras Parade runs every year at 7PM on the Saturday before the Pascagoula Parade. It's a greeat time for the community to come together and socialize. Kids (and a lot of the parents) love to catch the throws from the floats. |
Mardi Gras BallThe Gautier Men's Club has a Mardi Gras Ball every year at the Jackson County Civic Center. The Ball is 14 days before our parade and 24 days before Fat Tuesday. There are different themes each year. |
